The Red Gate is on-line and ready for posting. Updates will appear on this front page with links to new content in other areas of the blog. I leave for Japan on Saturday, August 5th. Updates will be slow at first as I get set up in Kobe, but expect to see new articles on a regular basis once I have a steady internet connection. For now, read the About section to get an idea of the direction for this blog.

Hey Dan!
Let me be the first to wish you the best of luck on JET this year! I hope you have an awesome time, and that you find it as rewarding and fulfilling an experience as I did. Please be sure to visit the Kyoto office and the students while you are there.

Hi Dan,
Just want you to know that as I volunteered at an HIV/AIDS fundraiser here in Colorado on Sunday—-six really long trains roared by right next to us. So of course, I thought of you! All the best as you settle in, re-immerse, take root in Kobe and within JET and launch your journey. Your gate…our joy. Thanks so much (in advance) for sharing with all of us,
In anticipation,
Lynn
